his name is flaco, he is a damn good engine builder and tuner for turbo'd ls motors, his truck makes over 1000hp. he is out of san antonio.

Damn the city/state would have gotten some very expensive cars and a fast truck had those guys been caught. Not the brightest thing I've ever seen but fun to watch. I wonder how light the rear end feels in that truck at those high speeds. I would think a cover over the bed would provide better air flow,and maybe a rear fin to hold the ass end down. I know at 140 things start feeling a little squirrely. There was a video of a single cab 6.0 gasser running like 9.6 in Sacramento with no roll cage. That thing was also fast, I think that truck was from Colorado IIRC. A fall trip to watch that event next year might be a fun thing to go and watch.:thumb: Where exactly is it held?
This isn't some street race it a legitimate racing event at an airport http://www.texasmile.net/. Its in the gulf coast region of TX close to Berclair, TX. Never mind if you where just talking about the street racing vid.

the guy you are refering to that ran a 9.6xx in sacremento is stock48 on performance trucks dot net. his is 4x4 too. and the white gmc is flaco from performance trucks dot net. that is his slow truck. his fast one is the first 99-06 silverado in the eights.
stock48 = first 99-06 1/2 ton 4x4 in the nines
flaco slow truck = (lil sis) runs nines
flaco fast truck= hayhauler- eight something
all boosted LS half tons
