Which will run faster?

I just don't see the savings people talk about with racing gassers. I had 6,000 in my SS and it went 8.60.

To supercharge this car the right way. I'm looking at spending 7,000 bucks. And that doesn't address the trans which is known to be weak. My good ole lb7 runs 7.80 with htt/trans/tune. 2200 turbo kit, 4500 trans, 800 invested in EFI live. Prolly 500 in sleeves/gauges/etc
