Looking for blower options on 2014-2018 6.2 GM truck. Maggies seem to be more popular than the Whipples, but whipple offers a 2.9L version, which should match up better with the 6.2 displacement wise (yes I’m aware there are other variables). Then there’s always the possibility of going crazy and running the 4.5L version and making my on intake manifold.:D. What have you guys run and/or seen with good results.

P.s a simple 100hp over stock will not be anywhere near enough for me.

I put this in smoke signals for the most traffic, sorry if it needs to be moved:hug:

I just got an lt4 engine wrapped with a new cts v so I have a little input

Whats your hp goal? The airflow isn't the issue with the di engines. Its the fueling.

I'd stay away from Whipple. If Maggie has a kit I would lean towards that and address fuel as it needs.

The lt4 stuff will max out before 700 whp and is limited worse with e85.

I think 600whp would be enough for me.

SmokinLmm has one of the baddest blown LS trucks I’ve ever seen and knows a ton about them. Send him a message on here. He runs a TVS 1900 on a built top end and the thing is scary.

“Cough cough bullshit cough”... damn it, think I got the corona or something

X2 who the F are you kidding Waid?

I like ProCharger, for the ease of modding. F1A94 can be left on low boost and make 700 or crank it up to 1000+. Just my wooden nickel.

I'd run a magnuson 1900 or 2300, the 1900 will come up faster but the 2300 will make a bit more power. The whipple isn't as snappy I've been told, but that could be just who I spoke with. FYI, 600 rwhp in that rigg is gonna be pushing it, powdered metal connecting rods will get upset past that.

What he said ^. And on a side note the 8L90 might not be too happy for too long. Friends 2018 silv z71 with 6.2 lasted til 23k. First design input shaft seals are big culprit

Sub'd, been doing some reading and leaning towards the same type set up for mine, I was getting ready to put the trigger on head swap and cam before this virus stuff hit and they fired half our company.

I've had a couple of Magnuson's and loved them both. The first was a 700 hp Hennesey Camaro and my current one is a 5.3 liter Trailblazer. Both were / are a blast to drive.

I also did a Procharger style one and never really liked it. Too lazy at the hit.
