Which Pedestal?

Steve, I saw somewhere where someone had a pedestal that was slightly angled (tilted turbo back) so it was easier for the intake I guess I don't know..

I'm looking to modify a van y-bridge so trying to see which one will work best for that style y-bridge.

My RDL ped was cracked in 4 places with just over a year later. Scraped it and went to HTT with 2" spacer

Should have let me know. I saw some cracks on the older ones and beefed up the side plates. So far so good!

So a 7 inch with a 475 is to tall? Reason I'm asking is a turbonectis is about 5.25 so a 2 inch spacer will be to tall? Maybe go with a 1.5?

I was looking for a 2", but I guess a 1.5 would clear just fine.

All the cast pedestal I've seen need to be ported/polished, but I'm OCD!!!
They look much better after I'm done. :thumb:

yea usually anything cast isnt going to be too pretty unless the manufacturer spends a little time on it. im leaning towards the HTT with a 1.5" spacer becauae that seems to be the size I can find..

HTT's aren't to bad, BD's are pretty ugly.

does the ats pedestal put the charger in the same location as the htt? like instead of the turbonetics putting it 1.5" foward. I just don't know the heights of the HTT or ATS. Searching and not finding what I need..

If I remember right the front to back location of the ATS to BD is the same, just that the ATS was 1 - 2" taller.

Htt pedestal should be right at 5" and usually close to a gasket match. But like some have said, as a casting, some porting could be done to help a little. If I remember Monday I can post a picture of the htt next to a bd to show the difference. Htt is taller and has better radius and transition inside for the exhaust flow.

do you have any info on the ats? I can get them pretty cheap is why I'm asking..if not I'm probably going with the HTT if I can find a 2" spacer
