Im looking into getting a lift pump but im not sure what gph rating is right for me. Ive found a good deal adjustable pressure 260 gph FASS and i know i dont need that much but i like to over build so theres room to expand so to speak. What im concerned about is the pressure being too high and causing a lope or some other problem. Any insight on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks:thumb:

Buy yourself an Airdog 150 or FASS (essentially the same thing) and be done with it. IMO, that 260 is far too big for what you are doing.

I just received my Aeromotive from Summit Racing yesterday. Self regulated at 7 psi. I'm going to install with OPS switch and by pass so I can still drive the truck if the pump fails. You might look into this option as its a bit cheaper than the more popular Dmax pumps.

A bargain pump is the PPE; they flow 160 GPH. It does not have filters.

Mine has been working fine for 2 years, even in the cold winters.

i have a FASS 150 platinmum series and its more than enough for what I need. i did mine with a Hellman sump to avoid any possible quarter tank issues with fuel pressure.

Aeromotive Marine, Fass, Raptor be sure it's diesel rated so the seals etc. can take the torture of diesel. Look at the pumps in Summit that are only rated for gas check it over and you want it to flow if it stops working so your truck won't stop. Some pumps won't flow thru when they quit.

I just put an Air Dog II DF-165 on my truck. I figure, I get the extra filtration, plenty of flow for my stock truck, and a lifetime warranty should anything ever happen to it (as long as AD is still in business that is). It's really not that loud either.
