The suncoast 0 balance flywheels are nice pieces...

That is strictly for an internally balanced engine. The flywheels are the same for external balance also, they just don't have all the big holes machined all the way around.

Well.... I feel stupid now. After Mike mentioned an exhaust can make it similar to a flex plate, I looked over and over countless times to make sure it wasn't. Until I changed my oil yesterday, I found the culprit. The exhaust was rubbing against the heat shield on the floor board between the transmission and transfer case. The whole time I looked for it was the truck parked on an incline. Found the issue when it was parked on a level ground. My motor mount may be more worn out than I thought to cause that vibration noise. I'll still add the flex plate in when its time for a transmission rebuild... If I ever get to it.

Lol. You know the clamp that holds down pipe and exhaust together. Sound like I have an extra on the exhaust loose some days. If you tap the throttle it makes a stupid vibrating sound. Has been driving me nuts that I can't find it.

I think I have the same thing. Started today. Sounds like soething is loose or flippin around. Sounds like its coming about mid truck, but only under load. Sounds expensive lol

TX of course
My exhaust started hitting the Trans lines and I had to readjust it and tighten down the vband real good.

What you're experiencing is probably the same as I had. Check the exhaust at the transfer case area, it may be too close to the heat shield for the floorboard. When the engine is under load, it shifts and moves the exhaust upwards to the floor board. Worn motor mounts may be the issue or incorrect exhaust orientation.

If your stock flex plate breaks, you will probably need a flywheel replacement to go with it. BD flex plate will not help. Might as well buy a SoCal flywheel and eliminate both pieces with one.:thumb:
