Cant beat the price, thats fer sure! BD claims 15lbs on it, too...pretty sure it's the lightest option available? BONUS- WINNING:thumb:
What does it do when the flex plate is broken.

Makes a lot of noise and it can take out the pump and converter. It also breaks the flywheel most of the time.
What does it sound like.
Like 2 skeletons screwing on a tin roof.
Exhaust brackets can make a lot of noise and fool you into thinking you have a serious problem.
Just the flex plate is 15lbs? Or the entire flex plete/flywheel? The BD reuses the stock flywheel.
I don't think the BD flexplate is 15#'s by itself
From what I understand, the BD flexplate is ONLY a flexplate. It requires you to reuse your factory flywheel with the ring gear on it which, in my opinion, invalidates the SFI rating. The SoCal and SunCoast flexplates both replace both flywheel and flexplate with a single piece.Shipping weight was 15lbs on the BD, 20lbs for the SoCal unit...don't know how accurate either of those claims are. I know my SoCal plate was all of 20lbs
