Where to get 272 loctite????

Ok, im not the brightest crayon in the box but i can hold my own lol. where are you guys getting the 272 loctite? i can only find 271 or Permetex thats labeled quite closely to the 271 stuff as well. Maybe AZ doesnt believe in this stuff or im just straight up blind. tryin to get my injectors in tonight so the sooner i find it the better

tried those places all yesterday. trying to see if anyone has a place they know normally has it for sure before i go puttin 1,000 miles on the sami to find a place

Most places won't keep that one in stock as it is not a big seller but most will order it for you. You could also check in to a few machine shops to see if they have any. I know I have some somewhere here at work but just can't find it right now. Could be at plant 2 or 3.


You could also try places like KBC tool or any industrial supply store.

Yeah, grainger the industrial house. They are down the street from my shop. They dont have any either but it will be in tomorrow mornin. Ill just work around doin injectors tonight

The # you really want if they have it in stock is 4C-9507. If not just tell them you need retaining compound.

I have used 4C-9507 on stock cups, hold downs, and harware to 100psi boost without issues. Cat just recently quit making it, so if they have any it will be old stock on the shelf.

If you cant find it I would use 620 loctite instead of the 272. The 620 loctite should be in stock as its what replaced the Cat stuff. They both will be green in color

jsut picked up the bottle from grainger. 40 bucks for a 50ml. McFadden must be pretty damn proud of that 15ml lol
