i agree with others, i typically recommend a billet/banded C2 hub if they are going over 700 and want to do some racing. and recommend shafts if they have the $$..

i ran 1200+hp and low 10 sec passes on a trans i built that simply had a banded c2 hub with no other billet parts.. stock shafts, P2, etc. and it held up to years of abuse but i certainly wouldnt recommend that for "reliability" lol

I saw your thread on CompD, and am curious what your build consists of. Got any timeslips to prove your claims? Race weight?

If you have indeed run the numbers you claim, you just might be putting out that much power. It is exceedingly rare for anyone to do it, and it wont last no matter what you do.
There have been people before you to do it (cmon...anyone remember Matt and Camomax?), but in the end there's always catastophe.

If your trans is holding now, then the wiser move would be to put the money toward the engine first.

Im trying to take the high road here....

Here is a timeslip from last season. Im not really worried about billet parts in my truck at the moment , its just been a gap in my knowledge thats been bothering me and i was hoping to gain some insight for the future. I dont expect my truck to last forever but i may turn it up and do a few hail marry passes this spring. I would love to get into the 6s on a stock block even if its only once before i window the block.
