ok folks, im in need of some opinions. im riding around tonight just cruising the car lots and i come across a "bubba truck" (dealership name for a truck at a dealership with lifts, wheels and tires, other various dress up stuff, and still retains the factory warranty). it is an 08 LMM CCSB with a 6" fabtech lift. it is almost a champagne color and has chrome incubus wheels on it. tires are Kumho 325/60/20. interior is fully loaded except for the factory NAV system. would it be worth it for me to trade in my 04.5LLY from a performance standpoint? the sticker is 56K with 9% off the sticker. i have 16 more months before i pay off my truck at 500 a month. i figure if i can get 30K for my truck with all mods on it that would put me at around 430 a month for 5 years. im at the point of getting serious with the LLY now with a tranny being my next upgrade so would it be worth my while to start on an LMM or just stick with the LLY? i have pics in my garage on dieselplace under bad04dmax. i cant really decide what i want to do so thought id get everyones opinion. sorry for the long post.

Sorry man you wont get that for your truck. Trade in values suck - BB on my 05 LLY Crew cab 4x4 LT loaded every option with sunroof was 19,6.... i got 22k for it from the dealer and it was pretty clean with some extras. Good luck though - I love my new LMM.

If your set on getting the new truck, then you need to sell your truck outright to get full value for your upgrades. The dealer is just going to give you book value, no matter what upgrades you have done.

If it were me, I'd keep the 04, its nearly paid for, I'm keeping mine for a while...

ive came to the decision of keeping the LLY. like you guys said its almost paid for and it has sentimental value where i built it myself. had to have a long morning in the duck blind to help me decide though:D thanks guys.

Your truck is very nice,I would like a new LMM though
I would never buy a lifted truck from a dealership though,And like larry said selling privately is better
