Is there diesel in the oil? What is the oil pressure? If is cheap and everything else is in good shape it shouldn't be to bad to fix. Unseated injector would cause a severe smoke out of the vent system. Before buying take the time to do a compression test and that will tell you a lot about the motor.

Not if injectors are filling the crankcase up with diesel and it is wayoverfull
