Help: What's this ticking sound? *Video*

Its hard to hear in the video, but im getting a rapid ticking sound when i get on the throttle and boost builds. It is directly related to either RPM's or boost psi and it gets faster as RPM's go higher.

It does not make the noise under light throttle.

Any ideas?

maybe because your fuel gauge has gone kaput.

exhaust leak would be my guess.

I've looked all over and no soot near the up pipes.

did you ever find that leak we saw from when you dyno'd?

Nope. Assuming its the band clamp on the bottom of the downpipe.

have you checked blanace rates and/or any logs? I knoiw its a lly but could be an injector startin to go. No noise under light throttle though? what about cold/warm?

No noise under light throttle.

No different if warm or cold.

No difference in tune either. Just put the race tune in and it does it also.

hmmm what if you put it in gear, hold the throttle and build some boost?if you can get it to do it under those conditions then you can have someone seach to pin point the tick under the hood. not the safest method but jsut be very careful

Doesnt do it unless the boost is above 35psi.

Did you ever figure out the ticking noise? My LB7 has a ticking noise that gets louder under load and more boost. Thanks

I either forgot about it, or it went away, or I made it up in my head. It doesn't do that anymore lol
