Update, took out all the weight I could have out of My truck and picked up .5, ran a 12.861 and I'm stoked! Haven't even tried the big tune yet

I don't get how anyone can not run the big tune. I go to the track and usually drive there on the hot tune to get the trans learned. I have no self control .

In the last year and a half, I've ran my big tune 15 times. Meaning it got loaded and has had 15 wot runs with it lol. If it gets loaded, it's going wot and that's it. Otherwise all I run is my so called "tow tune"

For me, I wanted to run a 12.99 or faster tonight. I had a "small tune" 2750 us and "big tune" 2900 us. If the 2750 us wouldn't get me into the 12's then I planned on using the big tune, which could blow up my motor.

At the end of the day. I ended up running a 12.780 which I am very happy with considering it was 40* outside. It's amazing how much the air temperature changed how the truck behaves, and having air that's not 7100 DA defiantly helps.

I've been running all season on the same tune, and then I drop some weight and get some better air quality and the truck ran way better than I expected. My tuner was a little surprised as well that it did so well at this elevation

I hope you realize those two PW are very very little difference. I bet you wouldn't have picked up hardly anything from the "big tune" you have. The truck would prob pick up more ET from just shifting better from another wide open pass.
