yea that would work. you would still need a custom intercooler pipe and the hole in the bridge itself is 2.5 inches so you would have to make the hole bigger.

on the LLY stock bridge/3" inlet we machine out the inlet of the stock piece so it mates to the 3" pipe better, and then its all blended with a die grinder

Then start it... But it will start crap and probably get locked, because for example, some may feel that Trent is a scammer and con, wheras others will think he was a great dude who contributed to the Dmax community. Same with dmitri.

:laughing4: and that's why it would be a "DRAMA" thread

:sarcasm:

I hired Joe to build parts for me and at the time he was welding on ships. Now he has his own business and is selling parts I hired him to build... Should of had papers signed... We no longer have him build anything for us..... Great welder but my back is bleeding like a stuck pig...

With his talent the last thing he should be doing is building parts for others so they can make the $ and take credit for the work.

It's unfortunate we were not able to continue our relationship, but business's go their separate ways every day. There are two sides to every story but I don't want or need to get into it online.

DHD makes some awesome products.

But what good would that do?

Understanding what "sarcasm" is would be a good start and end your curiosity...;)

Sorry to hear that Tony. I have had a few guys take my knowledge of framing and become my "competition" but it is the nature of the tradesman's beast...but that was another life ago for me, and it's easier now to look back now and shrug it off then it was then, fer sure...

I know what you mean. I was on the other side of that coin with someone else.

It's definitely one of the bigger fears of taking on a talented employee for a small shop/business, sometimes even the un-talented ones are even worse, it can really put your back to the wall, especially in a trade like yours, or anybody where trade secrets are a part of business like the duramax game, my trade was more about knowing codes and process, less secretive and more about order of process and organization while under tight timelines...but nothing can replace forward thinking, drive and talent

:thumb:

BTW, ours is.

Lol, of course it is:rofl:

There is no doubt in my mind that while you worked with Tony there was a mutual benefit, your work is incredible (as is Tonys) and speaks for itself, let it:D

It is what it is, none of us want to see dissension between DD members, especially when it's our forums vendors, hopefully, we as a community will see and appreciate that we have such talented people making products for us to purchase, new products become available, and that there is an understanding that partnerships don't always last for whatever reasons, and contracted agreements expire and don't always get renewed...

Not that I know anything about what happened between Tony and Joe, or what Rick went through, just seen enough of business to know this shit happens and it's not always avoidable, and it's not always bad either.

Best of luck to both/all of you, collectively, I admire all your work:thumb:

Edit:

Lol

Heck, now that I think about, didn't we all (small business owners) get started by working with someone else..?

I did. I got tired of working with my boss, tired of making a laborers wage while doing journeymen level work and running a crew...after a couple years of asking for a decent raise in pay and only getting a buck here or there...

I took my tools and my lead guy, and started my own crew and never looked back, sure my boss was ticked, he didn't pay me out for 3mo, lol, dick, and I wound up building next to, and eventually with him again years later with my crew on big custom homes.

We last parted ways friends and that's how I consider him to this day, and I am and always was grateful for all he taught me

That says even more about how far you've come and what you've achieved by your own passion and desire :thumb:
