What rpm have you seen work well mike ?Making the Alli shift at a higher rpm will take a load off it.

Any rpm that takes the shifts out of the tq peak is beneficial to the Alli. A soft shift is not necessarily a bad shift and a firm shift is not allways a good shift. If you have a soft shift out of the tq peak there will be less damage.
Each truck is different and has to be fine tuned for best performance. Sometimes a slight tir-up on a shift works better than a clean slow shift.
