I have always ran Diesel Kleen grey bottle. It works too well for me to try anything else and be disappointed. Plus I get it at wholesale if I buy a case.

As long as you don't add 2-stroke oil, atf, or veg oil you should be fine.

I use Power Services Diesel Kleen and its a great product, also like Lucas Oils Fuel System Treatment, noticed in a few test running these 2 different additives the rails, lines, and injectors stayed clean per than just fuel alone and fuel Econ went up 1-2mpg:)

I have run 2 stroke oil, motor oil, hydraulic oil, a mixture of the 3, power service, schaeffer's, and currently using rev-x. As long as I put something in there, I feel like I'm helping.

Any good tc-w3 oil is fine i am using Klotz currently ive used amsoil, phillips 66 injecz. Also use the gray bottle in summer and the white bottle in the winter.Todays shitty low sulfer fuel doest have the luberplicity it should so 2 stoke as a supliment is a good move.

i raced 2-stroke dirt bikes my whole life and after seeing the nasty shit that comes out the exhaust i told myself i would never put that in my truck that has extremely small injector spray holes.

besides there are so many great additives specifically designed to combat the untra-low sulfur diesel, additives that have been tested by the companies that put them out.

its not the ash, i just cant see putting thick oil in a truck that is known for problematic injectors.

but if you can run it with no problems then good :thumb:

Dp had a big thread on this a few years back, interesting results to say the least. It was supposed to be objective but who really knows? Optilube was hands down the winner, by a good margin. If I could get it in Alaska that is what I would run. The 2-stroke was not bad but not that good either, it is by no means was bad and beat out some of the other dedicated Fuel Additives...

I run optilube summer blend it was high on the DP study I think number 4 out of 20 products tested and it is cheap to use.
