Lift pump!! I have the same truck and it didn't run for crap over LVL-6 before the lift pump. I drilled the fuel fitting's and shimed it, also added a AIRDOG 150 L.P. with tank pick-up. That works well enough for the fuel demand of the 350 tune. Even with all of that it runs out of fuel on the 425 tune.

Then back to level 6 it is for now....

Id do a lift pump, my personal choice would be the airdog 150, then If i were you id take care of the little things too like tie rod sleeves if you dont already have them so you can launch in 4 wheel and stuff like a new downpipe and bd passenger manifold just so you know you have the best flow for your turbo but bthats just me. Id also think about adding like a cheetah if you dont wanna spend a whole lot on a turbo or go with MPI twins. Id also make the switch over to EFI Live and find someone to make you a good tune. Then maybe an injector upgrade of some sort, nothin crazy. Thats just what i think though.

I have EFI Live.

Looks like the general concensus is lift pump.

Is it really necessary for the lift pump to be one that includes a filter?

i have a Super Diesel lift pump that pumps through a Cat filter....i guess it depends on what type of lift pump you go with...most recommend running it with a filter but i already knew my pump (Carter single) could be reliable without being filtered prior, so I rigged the filter post-pump for the best flow capabilities and pressure monitering.

Moving shift points where?

I have blocker plate and pcv re-route.

I bought the PPE race valve but couldnt get it installed because the stocker was impossible to get off.

Depends on your truck but i like the shorter shifts in the lower gears
4 and 5 I liked a little higer RPM you could probably run 4th gear in the 1/4
I know my friend has with 35s

I think you need to talk with Nick some more about TCM tuning:) Get that more dialed in for your truck

If it gives you any idea where my gearing is at right now, I'm at 82mph at 2000rpm. Overdrive, converter locked.

What is stock MPH at 2000rpm?

Anyone? Stock mph @ 2000rpm?

Nick sent me a hothothot tune today that im going to try, to go along with the Airdog 150.

How do i change the TCM?

My EFI live selection of folders doesnt include one that has anything to do with TCM, besides one that has to do with codes or something.

You have to download the TCM file from the TCM. I can't remember if you have to license to pull a tune or if you only have to license to flash, but all you need to go is click the Read PCM button at the top of the screen (the one with the green arrow) and select "LB7/LLY Allison TCM" from the controller section of the pop up window.
