I'm running the MPI basic kit for LLY non wasted s400 over the stocker... I had a exhaust/boost leak on the hot pipe and the stock turbo exhaust manifold and finial got it fix yesterday and took it to the track. Ran my tow tune first and had good bottom end take off and was looking good. truck seemed to fall on it's face around 4th or 5th gear...My guess is drop in rail pressure I ran a 13.7. so I switched over to my race tune on dsp and headed back to the staging lanes. Got staged and took off.. truck fell on it's face from bottom all the way to the top. I'm not sure what over all boost was but my big charger was only putting out maybe 5psi or a lill higher but not much higher. I ran a 15.08. engine threw a P0238 code along with a mass air code. The trucks sill not running right and the turbos don't sound like they did before. I think I'm basicly running on the stocker, I'm not sure... I did log three runs but I'm not sure I used the right pids.. On the third run I wasn't that hard on it and ran it in two wheel with slight boosted launch and ran a 14 something but I did log that run with the duramax imperial pids. Any ideas or has this happened to anyone else... I'm just lost, confused and about ready to take everything off my truck and sale it... this is getting old... i was running faster with stock parts and my wallet was a lot healthier.

You do have a lift pump right also Did you see how much boost you were pulling Maybe your maf tables need rescaled. An check Your filters maybe your losing fuel pressure
yeah I've got a lift pump and as far as the boost... it didn't log I don't think and I didn't have a chance to watch my gauges and drive too. I did just do an oil change a few weeks ago and changed the fuel filter but it doesn't show signs of leaking. when I was fixing my boost leak I unplugged my mass air sensor and maybe I didn't get it plugged back in as good... but once I seen it threw that code I double checked it and cleared the code... I haven't had it since..

the 238 will kill almost all the power, its throwing it in limp mode the maf needs to be rescaled.

mine did the same thing when i first put my kit on also.

Which lift pump are you running an which filter did you replace an di clearing the code change anything

TTS dual lift pump and I replaced both oil and fuel filters at the same time. as for clearin the code it did run somewhat better but I didn't notice that big of a change till I did a full refash.

ok it's been awhile. Still haven't got everything straightened out, but I have fixed an exhaust leak between the turbos and made a pressure tester and found another leak were the MPI main intake( cold side intercooler tube) mounts to the Y bridge. ( I think that's what its called) I'm thinking maybe need a new metal gasket??? if that don't fix it what else can i do? I'm also wanting to delete the egr off the truck... no cooler, change the up pipe the whole nine yards...

If you have a MPI kit you should have most of the egr part off. Only part that should be left is the egr motor mount to hold the inlet to the Y bridge. If you want that gone I sell a part that RDL makes to loose that and you can get a LB7 pass up pipe to loose the rest.

Do you still get a code? Did you ever turn the overboost code off with EFI Live? When i put my twins on the truck didn't go too far too fast without turning the overboost code off. And I just deleted my maf. And if theres a gasket where your leak is coming from a new one should fix it. Once a metal gasket leaks there usually shot.
