Question: Whatever happened to Orange Crush

Does anyone know whatever happened to Orange Crush? if it's still together and where it is located?

The last I saw of it was a photo parked outside an older auto parts store, haven't seen anything since then.

I remember seeing it posted for sale in like 2008.

Pretty sure the truck is for sale still locally to me. I actually was going to go to him for some work etc as the owner lives 20 mins away

I LOVED that truck even tho Steve Cole was involved with it.


Edit: I see its Caulkin not Alston. Knew it was a chassis guy though.

Very cool truck, I hope to see it back on the track. I spoke with Chris and Eric at PRI about it and sounds like they will be racing it this season. I remember watching it run back in the day when 10.0 was crazy fast. Trend setting for sure.

They did have it right from the beginning... start out lighter and go 2WD. Regardless of who was involved with it that truck was pretty neat.

Ken, It seemed to run fine but they were still fighting the Allison. If I remember right they ran a mid 10sec pass then had trans problems.

I only beat Orange Crush at Bandimere because their tuner didn't know how to deal with high altitude. Oh well. They should have used EFILive.:rofl:

How fast do you guys who are built to the hilt, how fast are you running at bandimere? I live a few hundred feet higher so I'm kinda curious
