Wonder why the dealer selling it would buy a replacement stock bumper for 200 bucks and put on it? Would it make the truck sell 10000000 times faster and net more money:confused:

General rule of thumb: Before making a bumper, buy a tape measure and see how wide the truck is first.

What the heck was he thinking clevises are for? Kind of defeats the purpose to weld them in place.

Welding shackles onto the bumper is a complete waste of both time and good shackles (even if they are china made). The fact that they are facing down, makes me wonder if they were ever intended to be used. Any decent load will rip them off the bumper and possibly injure someone (probably not the moron that welded them on as he will be behind the wheel at full throttle doing a "jerk" to pull someone out).

As for owning a tape, just test fit the thing a couple of times and step back to look at it. I do not even think it will fit a dually and look good.

Oh man..... Even if it wasn't 2 feet wider than it should be.. it wouldn't be too good.. but the width just boggles my mind

That thing is hideous. The truck really wouldn't be that bad if it had a stock bumper on it.
