Could you list a few of the differences? I only ask because I sold my s480 and bought a twin kit that has the 4718. My s366 will be pushing it.

Thanks.

A gt4718 has an 88mm compressor and a 92mm turbine with a few different turbine housings available.

Your average s480 used in a compound setup is obviously an 80mm compressor with a 96mm turbine and 1.32ar turbine housing.

That 92mm turbine is too small for an 88mm compressor in my opinion, you'd need to gate the snot out of it if you plan to make decent power with it. If you want to go that big, I'd suggest running an s500sx or a gt55.

I vote 483 as well. Verlon at atp runs the 483 over a modified Danville vgt and it makes a very clean and drivable 1000hp

Amen. Do you have a corvette also? Just asking from the sig.
Naw man, Id be dead, in jail or on the run if I had a Corvette...in an case, my kids would be fatherless and it'd be a bad deal
Lol

Country corvette=really fast pick'em up truck :D

Imo twin the 3794 with a comparable 4718/s480 size charger
BINGO

And, ditto!

I have talked to Mark about the 4718 as an atmo to the 3794, he seemed pretty confident when he exclaimed "it would rip!"

I vote for the 83 or 4718

IMHO from my research Id say
83 if going for bigger hp goals like say, 900-1000
4718 for for a sustainable, well rounded 850
Of course fuel and tuning are going to have a major role in the equation too...

How would this one fare? Guy said he made 1127 on just fuel with it as a single with the 1 ar.

He said the 5 blade flows more and is overall more efficient than an off the shelf.

If anyone knows how this turbo compares that would be great. He's waiting for a reply on if I'm going to purchase or not

That's for use as a single. Not suitable in compounds unless it's going to be a high pressure.
