Ok, here is what I want opinions on......right now I currently have what is in my sig., and George (Big Dipper) will be giving me a Stage IV upgrade in the next couple weeks. After that I planned on getting EFI live and just calling it quits and being happy with my truck for once....BUT....now I'm thinking of a Turbo upgrade. I've done multiple searches and EVERYONE says something different.....so my question is, if I want to keep my truck the way it is....big heavy bumper and 35's.......what is the highest HP I can go without doing engine mods.....and what do I need to get there? If I get a single Danville replacement will it keep my EGTs low and still give me good spool? Should I look at twins? Has anyone ran or heard of the II twin kit? Any info or help? I just don't know the best route to spend my money and on what....I def. want at least 550 to the rear wheels and don't want to have to worry about EGTs...

Do you have a price range? If you don't want to worry about EGT's I would say twins would be best, and they would give you the most power while keeping the motor safe

I was looking to spend about 3000-3500 on a set or a kit..... I'm never going to be a big time racer/etc.... so I don't need the absolute best...just a kit that will work and do what I need. And there is a company called Industrial Injection and I was wondering if they were decent?

Couple questions about that though.....I was told that Cheetah's have stock veins in them that tend to break.....is that true? Also, is there any type of warranty on it?

Haven't seen any issue with my Cheetah thus far. Runs strong, EASY install and all around good turbo. As for the warranty I don't know...didn't even think to ask cause I didn't realize there were aftermarket parts that had warranties...I can find out for ya though

I'd hope that a 3 grand part would have some type of manu. defect warranty or something....I would just be nervous if I bought it and it broke or something a couple weeks later....I wouldn't have a dealer to go to or anything. But ya, if you want to find out and let me know, I might take it off your hands...

I think twinning the stock charger would work good for ya. I think II kit is around $3,300 and MPI new LBZ kit is around $3,800 IIRC

Personally, I think twins are the best way to go. But I'm nobody. The best answers you'll get are from Rob and George. They both have opinions based on years of experience. Ask them.

Twins from Trent Nell he is a vendor on here and ive ran singles for years there is no comparison

at the very least get a bigger turbo.....personally im not a fan of VVT i think they are restictive and for the price a small BW will blow the dorrs off any VVT

Talk to Trent he will hook you up with a tune and a set of twins that will work for you:)

Nothing for LBZ's yet Simon , a few months out still . But the price will be in the 3k range , and a similar design to the LB7's , I have a LBZ that is already paid in full on a set ( S480/ stocker ) and have all the parts here just waiting to finish up a few things i have promised first ( LB7s first then a few LLy's ) . If you are in the market now and wont be a few months from now I would hit up MPI , Nathans kit ( MPI) is top quality stuff . here a pic or 2 of the lb7's i am doing now .

Please don't laugh but I have a couple questions:

1. What is a BW?

2. Will I be removing my current intake?

3. Who would I contact for MPI info?

4. (To Trent) - Do you think it will only be a couple months until your kit comes out? Like maybe late August? And what type of turbo would you be using on this kit?

My vote goes for twins. Do your homework in who you feel would be best for you. But I would recommend you wait a few months and see what Trent has to offer the LBZ crew. I'm liking the new look to the intake Trent :D
