Im running a fass 150 pump with cat filters on it (1R-0750 and 175-2949) and from the lift pump im running push loc hose all the way straight into the cp3 pump. I got to thinking well shoot if the lift pump ever dies the fuel will by pass the filters and put un filtered fuel straight into the engine. So my question is im thinking of doing a universal filter head bolted to the frame or something and running a third filter in between the fass and the cp3. Do you guys think i would compromise flow doing this? Essentially ill just be "relocating" the factory filter some where else. Anyhow i feel this is the best idea. But does anyone have a part number or know where i can get a simple fuel filter head with inlet and outlet that will work for the cat 1R-0750? Any opinions?

I'm pretty sure the filters can't get bypassed on a FASS system. The pump itself will bypass but the fuel has to go through the filters regardless. More filtration is always a good idea though. How much power are you planning on running?

Ahhh ok i see, i must have got some mis information on another forum, i swear some of them guys on the duramaxforum just say what they want to say lol but i prob wont go over 600-650 HP due to stock bottom end. I used to run a third cat filter at the stock filter head and didn't notice any negatives but that was before my turbo. Thanks guys
