Hey guys I am trying to make up my mind here. I want to change up the look of my truck a bit. Eventually I want to lift 6" and 35s but for now lets talk cosmetically. I feel like everyone blacks out their trucks. Even though I like it I want something different. I think if I keep things stainless or chrome it will look classier but still badass. I have a stainless toolbox and I think it would look out of place if I blacked out the truck. I don't know, what do you guys think I could do? I want to keep my badges for sure. I dont want excessive chrome like a homeys pontiac but I like the older look of some chrome and stainless.

Feel free to post pictures for reference or photoshop my truck if you are so inclined!

Because everyone and their mom has them.. it's up to him I guess but I would rather blend in.
Less is more imo.

Why would he take out the HIDs?

Color match your mirrors and flares and slap billet grilles in front

The guy i purchased it from had the HIDs put in. They are just meh in my opinion. How hard would it be to swap back to normal lights? Also, i really like the black fender flares but paint matched mirrors would be cool. How would you go about doing that? Any suggestions or links for billet grilles?

Thanks guys!

Cali..
The point of the thread is how to look better and stand out from the crowd without going over board.. If he removed his HIDs and left everything else he would be bone stock and not stand out one single way lmao..

This is my old lly

If you're putting it on stock offset rims you could get 33s with trimming and torsion bars cranked up some, 35s I'd say you would need aftermarket keys and the bumper lift mod withy the bumper corners trimmed..

I cleared my stock head lights myself then just ordered sylvan is bulbs and euro marker lights off amazon.. I had to go to eBay for the grilles cuz they were the only place I could find the bolt over style for reasonable.. I actually have a brand new bolt over grille sitting in the Box still lemme know if you're interested..

Another thjng to do that I think looks good for cheap is to candy out your tail lights so they're all red..

I'd have to have someone look at it and tell me what to do exactly. I wouldn't know what to trim and to be honest I don't even know what you mean by offset wheels. Im that much of a noob.

Do you have a pic or link to the grille?

Lights are easy to swap back from.

Remove housing
Unclip light from ballast, unclip ballast from factory wiring harness
Install new bulb in housing
Reattach factory harness to new bulb

Voila, done :)
