What kind of fitting in exhaust manifold for drive pressure?

It's 12' total from the fitting to the gauge. Even without the coil the run would be about 8 ft, so figure there's probably 4 ft in the coil itself. The line is copper the whole way.

the 1/8" copper plugs up super fast, never had luck with it, had to switch to 1/4 copper and then the 1/8 nylon worked fine from the filter to the gauge.

I had the same problem. And after about 6 months my mechanical gauge sooted up. This is my setup now with a JGS filter:

Ordered the filter today. Also found a 1/8 NPT x 1/4 OD brass compression fitting on Amazon so I don't have to pull and redrill/tap the manifold for a larger size, that was nice. Got 5' of 1/4" copper tubing on the way too. Thanks for the help everyone.
