I hear about the LBZ ecm having the ability to rev higher, any truth to this?

I'll tell you one person that may know something is a well known name in truck pulling. Chris Watson. I'm not sure if he's p-pumping or sigma pumping his Duramax but he's building a mod class duramax pulling truck and you can bet he'll be north of 5000rpms.

If hes doing that doubt it will have an ECM
