But seriously what was the original usage or was it just something you gutted when you removed the airbag?

I've seen something familiar just cannot remember driving me nuts.

I think some old cars had a bar kind of like that for the horn.

Full story is it was mounted on a momentary on switch in a very nice and hidden piece of tubing near the right of the drivers seat. Basically put your right hand down as you sit in a seat and it was there. Didn't really like that much of a reach off the wheel to hit a little button. I asked Dave (the guy who put the whole truck together) to put a button on the wheel. He didn't know where the best place was so he made that. It's unique for sure, but it's very functional. The arm switch is still down by the seat.

I think its awesome Jerry , if i am going to grab for nitrous on the line in a hurry or half track I want a switch that is easy to reach and big so i cant miss it , and not to mention he did a superb job building it !

Loved the two build videos, Jerry and his builder did an outstanding job putting that truck together. I bought that truck from Nick D thinking we'd build a SS and a PS truck, but decided that was not in the budget so sold it to Jerry the day we put Max'd Out on the track for the first time. And Yes Jerry all old cars had a horn bar that looked just like that. I'm not sure Jerry has ever ran that truck in the big tune or even hit the NOS. It would go in the 9's easy, Jerry got pretty close up in Edmonton last summer 10.18 I believe.:thumb:
