red line all the way 85plus or catalyst have done it since my 6.5l days and never had a pump or inj failure the fuel quality in northern bc here sucks so you really need the lubrication.

I have a couple of the pint size 2 stroke oil containers in the back of the truck that I keep filled with 8 ox 2 stroke and 8 oz of the silver power service. Pick both up at wally world and just mix it in a couple of old power service gallon jugs. One pint of mix per fillup.

I never had good luck with the stanadyne, and i used alot of it; 5 gallons in about 6 months. Too much for poor performance, and it smoked alot too (comparitively), just did not seem to keep the injectors clean. Could be the local fuel i was using it with. Power service was a worse performer than the stanadyne, the redline has been the best sofar, and ive used diesel power, diesel purge, dfc plus, fppf, howes, marvel, 2-stroke, etc....

I run the Stanadyne performance formula. I have recently started adding the lubricity formula just because....mostly because of the lubricity test. I did run out of the Stanadyne last year and couldn't get it in time for trip so I used Power Service. I swear the the truck ran quieter, but I have not noticed any mileage gain with either product....definitely not anything that paid for itself except I am still running on my original injectors....:dancenana:

When i read the lubricity study...BioDiesel came out on top...waaaaay way on top for lubricity. Surprisingly 2 stroke was also farily high on that list.

I run the power service in the gray bottle year round for aprox the last year, I have noted the truck is easier to start in the winter, and seems to run even more quiet than without the additive. Also did well in the study and it can be easily bought here vs the other products.
I can't say that I have improved fuel mileage but I can say that I do not have worse mileage.
And I am improving the amt of lube going through the fuel system, hopefully this will increase the life of the fuel system components.
