Also, I like to get out in the woods, if its hunting season. Nothing like sitting in a tree stand for a few hours and watching nature. I saw to bucks fight just the other day, very cool sight. I couldnt bring myself to shoot either one of them after seeing that.

If its not hunting season chances are its warm out, and out comes the bike.

Sounds like what I do.

Like you guys said, dogs are a good stress reliever. I have a beagle that loves to play with chew toys, and play tug-of-war.

If its archery season, that is a great stress reliever. Just being out there watching nature at its finest is great. It lets you know the grand scheme of things.

If it is warm, I will either cruise around with all 4 windows down in the truck and the music cranked, or I'll grab the bow and fling a few arrows until I feel better.

On a bad day at work I will usually just go someplace where nobody will find me, and think about something far away from work. Usually my truck. When I'm at home and it's nice I will take the quad out for a burn.

I forgot one that is a big stress reliever for me - flyfishing. I can't wait to get out on the stream when there is a good fly hatch, even moreso when I have had a bad day.
Just something about dryfly fishing, the casting and seeing the fish rise at your fly is very relaxing.

Just took the bike out for a little 50 mile spin around town.... not that today is a bad day or anything just need to releive some stress from my truck and woman issues. triple digits with a wheel in the air seems to do something to clear the head.

Dang it...... why does that stuff have to be illegal?

Continuing on with my thread from a few days ago what do you guys do on good days... what do you guys find yourself doing on bad days to take your mind off things or whatever?

Having a really sh*tty day today - think its time for a 75 mile popular motorcycle loop on all the back roads and mountain canyon twisties - in the truck :lildevil: (For people that know the area 101-58-13 Corners-229-41-101)

Seems like driving in the truck is the only way I can get my mind off things....
Changed the oil and tuned up the lawn mower today :D

I think the internet is my relief, coming to this place or the DP seems to do it pretty quick. I just look for a funny joke or someone else's problems and realize mine aren't that bad.

I drive on to the next stop and attempt to let go whatever pissed me off. I dont need any more stress in my life. I have lots of time to think while driving between stops.

UPS guys drop packages from a 2 story building and then run over them before delivery to get rid of stress. This passes their stress to the recipient of the package and therefore works very well for them.:baby:

I too like grabing a firearm and blasting random sh!t :D Even better to have a shootin car and just unload a mag full of ammo in a hellfire of noise, flame, smoke and destruction! If its runnable, hop in the truck, crank up the LOUD, PTFO music and roll some coal! Like 6yrs ago when i got layed off, i had a momentus buildup of anger, stress, and energy, so i quickly emptied some beers and that still didnt do, so i was at my buddies shop and he had a POS g-body Cutlass there.....hmm standin there and i see his 10lb sledgehammer......it flew through the windshield.....that helped some so i grabbed the hammer and attacked the strongest part of the car! I repeatedly swung the hammer at the the pass. A-pillar... I hit it till I ripped it free at the bottom! And that supports the car in a roll over! Ya, that was one hell of a bad day!:D

Mike,
So thats what happened to my new radiator that UPS delivered Wednesday....

As for the topic, something fast always seems to work well.
There is something about running the bike through the measured 1/4 mile (142mph at the stripe) on the local highway that helps quite a bit.... except that it is snowing now. I think the fear of potentially dying overcomes the anger.

Wrenching on the toys help a lot as well.
