You fellas have some pretty damn cool jobs!

Had to retrofit a concept joy fan from the old adjustable pitch in flight controls to locked blades, new motor, new yaskawa vfd. Crane almost cancelled due to weather. Static balance was a bitch on this one but that's how it goes. And the builder of this building in the 1980's didn't put a freight elevator in so all the motor rigging, minus crane, sent down 7 floors.

The forklifts these weights are going on are pretty large forklifts. That's why we told them they needed a bigger forklift. They have two big ones and are gonna switch these weights back and forth depending which one goes out on the job. They said they have another, larger forklift they want to add 4,000 lbs. to, we'll see. What gets me is they are putting all this weight on a 1 1/2" pin with the 4 pieces holding it all together. I don't trust the pin.

Something like this.... Pretty sure the stuff on the back "isn't stock" lol

One of our clients has 2 Cat 992's with 6" of plate added under the rear to help keep them from tipping. The plate was roughly 10' x 6'. 1 sq ft of plate 1" thick roughly weighs 41.5 lbs. 60 sq ft X 6" x 41.5 lbs is about 15,000 lbs.
