Just an Update :D

Waiting on adjuster to get back to them on the mechanical stuff Robert needs to put Wendy back to one piece:hug:

Also waiting to see what they are going to allow for the stereo/nav stuff.

Have authorization for body work :D They also authorized $473 for my tires and $1080 for the rims.

So at this point I'm happy how the insurance is handling it.

Just curious how your insurance works. Did you have to buy separate insurance for your aftermarket accessories or is your insurance company "gentle" enough where they will work with you with receipts of aftermarket goods?

I don't know what they are going to reimburse for the stereo equipment. I don't have any aftermarket rider. I did have receipts for the equipment. So I guess find out soon enough.

From what I was told by the dealer the rims where replacement cost for pyo's.

But, that would have replaced the rims that where on Wendy. The new ones where $1300 so we didn't come out to bad on the deal.

I've never had to mess with an insurance adjuster till today. Never really been in any accidents.. Anyways stupid me thought I needed to show them the estimates, now I'm getting paid about 500 less than they quoted... Don't make the same mistake  :(

I didnt have the aftermarket rider on mine either, I did have the stereo/nav owners manuel in the console though and my insurance replaced my system with the newest version of my stereo without any hassles to the tune of $2800 (Kenwood Nav) i pick up my truck saturday :woott:

Did the rest of your tires finally show up?

Yes :D It was weird. 3 went to one Fedex office and the other one went to another. We haven't mounted them yet. We will take them down to the dealer when she is closer to be done. I don't want them messed up :D

Sorry to see this happened. I've been out of touch with neck fusion surgery done though and healing fine. Anyway your new wheels and tires look nice with that shade of red on Wendy. Hope the ins. adjuster treats you right since you sure give them enough to cover your multiple rig package. Makes a person wonder if anything is safe now days. All we can do is our best to protect things so get her fixed and enjoy it again. They must have known it was a popular truck out there after they ditched it so fast. Don't think they wanted to get caught with it that's for sure. Enjoy it when it's home again.

Batteries and power steering pump would burn out if that thing kept running very long it would seem. Good idea and thief grabber though inventor got it right for a surprise got to say that for credits.
