Ya know something? For what was taken or attempted, I will bet the thief is someone who lives close to you. You may have even met him/them before. They probably own a diesel truck, either GM or DOdge. Id also be willing to bet they are lurkers here.


So glad you got her back. You've got enough friends to help that she'll be good as new very quick.
BTW, do you need anything from any of us outstaters?

Well Kat, considering she was stolen, found in a somewhat deserted area I would say the damage is not that severe... she will be as good as new no doubt :hug:

The only issue that we can't tell or deal with until the adjuster shows up is if the engine is hydro locked. There is water in the intake tube going to the turbo

X2, especially with the DD banner across the side you can only assume at the very least they have been on this site before, after, or presently to atleast see whats going on.. I also agree it is someone local and more then likely some young punk a$$ kid. Are those tire rub marks on the inner fender? Did the original wheels rub or were they out jumping it? Whats up with the missing A-pillar? Gauges I'm guessing? What were they trying to do to bend the brace over the battery Glad you managed to get her back atlleast and hopefully the insurance company takes care of you guys :hug:

Tell the ajuster it has factory carrilo's and they must have bent from the water hydro locking the cylinders :angel: On a serious note hopefully the motor is not damaged as I can see that becoming a major PITA when asking the insurance company to foot the bill for a new/replacement motor..

No, my original tires did not rub. Might of happened when the tow truck tried to get her out with the loaner tires No idea why they took the a-pillar. I had only one gauge and it was in the dash. Looks like they tried to cut the brace to steal the battery and couldn't.

There is a crease where the bottom part was folded back. Looks like someone bent it back out between Friday when we saw it and today.

Glad yall got her back and at least the damage dont appear to be nothing major (fingers crossed), it could have been alot worse they could have burned it or something like that but im glad that had a little sympathy for poor little wendy
