I think a 7.1 heads and cam and one of those stock looking turbos would be nice witha smoke free tune and put the stock exhaust back on air box and pull in the stock class's lol

I had a feeeling she was going to let go on me at the Smokin in the smokies and did run her as hard as I could, I had noticed in the last few months that I have lost some of my et and 4 mph on runs and just had a bad feeling in my stomac, Kat if you guys have any deals on part please pm me please please discover card in hand

Im going to have my race motor in buddies chevelle to drive and I also have a suburnban and a old K5 to drive while I rebuild shit happens I got use to it with the race car and started buying better parts and they live alot longer most of the time :hug:

was helping a friend last night (more just standing around watching him ) try and figure out which piston cracked on his 'Z. Balances rates indicated that piston 7 was the bad one so we put a scope in the injector hole and think we seen a/the crack. Couldn't quite get the scope in far enough but think we can see the crack.
Side note, what a PITA to pull the #7 injector. Had to pull all the EGR shtuff and move the AC.

Balance rates have always been within each other.will not be any egr left after this.

On the balance rate thing... what I meant was that the truck did the same as you - white smoked, rough running, etc. - surely a cracked piston. We were trying to locate which one specifically was cracked or had a hole. So by checking the balance rates we were able see which injector was over compensating and therefore checked that cylinder first.
