Sorry, didn't realize I would stir up such a hornet's nest. Still think THAT GUY's shorts are too tight. I went to Comp Diesel and asked nice for Comp D to reconsider allowing banned members back. You closed the thread in less than an hour with I think 5 posts. That's your right I guess. You came over here and jumped on me because I posted what I did on Comp D. That's fine, but I'll have to call BS on it anyway. 6'7" didn't realize you could stack it that high.

That's funny right there... :D

I haven't been on CompD for a while. There's just not enough Dmax tech there and I could care less "How's much will it cost to get my 12v to 400hp"...

Serious question:
Based on your above quote I'm assuming it's not OK to talk about other sites but it is ok to post links to other sites on CompD?

I missed this. Yes...it is OK to post links to other sites.
What's NOT OK are threads like the "DP is pathetic" thread like on here.
You can even link to another site in your Sig if you like.

My DD is an 06 Dodge/Cummins with 115K on the clock...the motor is perfect...the truck is rapidly falling apart.
Thinking about swapping into an 09 crew cab LMM when I go home for Christmas. We just got some new company trucks and that's what's there now.
We buy on price alone....Ford and Dodge wont deal right now but GM will for some reason so we just got several new trucks.
I drove one of the LMM's a few weeks ago.....I wasn't real impressed with the road feel of the truck....those skinny stock tires make it drive like ass.
My Dodge did too when I first got it but I upsized the tires a bit and it's been much better since....guess I could do the same for the Chevy.

I was really impressed with the LMM when I drove it. Especially after a tune-up. It has a very nice interior and power everywhere. It was hard not to upgrade Blue, but Blue is still running very well and does everything I need.

We do have the LMM power (330HP) in our motorhome, and it will go up any grade at 70mph, and gets 11mpg with a heavy foot, bone stock at 18,000lb. GM is just getting better and better with their engines.

I LOVE the new trucks as far as appearance goes (haven't been in any except for a gasser a 1/2 ton reg cab sb v6 gasser at work). IMO though, the classics are much more comfortable (seats) and user friendly - the controls for the HVAC and radio are a reach in the new trucks as compared to the classics. The power however is NOT enough better to trump the difference in comfort. I'd like to roll in style though and I definately like the looks of the new trucks so it's a toss up on which I'd get if in the market. Honestly, most likely an LMM just for the new look and deal with the extra reach and not-as-comfy seats. Got an image to keep up you know.

However, neither will be happening til I can pay CASH for one. I'm through with financing my life away! Dave Ramsey has cast his spell on me and my non-sense approach to finances are on there way out the door. Playing is on hold. For now, as he likes to say, "I'm gonna live like no one else, so that later I can live like no one else" (means scrap and save hardcore for now so that later on in life, you have money to do as you wish).
