Mike has already given you a great testing procedure... lockup in the Allison is not cut and dry like it is in a 47/48RE i have learned to accept it as have others
Okay I'll try a dealership. Is that something that is done with the truck stopped or while driving?
It must be done while driving and if the tech isn't familiar with looking for this problem it is a waste of money.
Tech will normally give you the run around for awhile, just listen to Mike or better yet give him a call when your getting up to doing it, he has been great help to everyone... x2 on the Allison is not cut and dry!
I sent him some logs of it on the 15th. I'm still waiting to hear back from him about it though. I did however notice that it happened again tonight WITHOUT A BOOSTED LAUNCH, so I guess it happens when I give it hell no matter how I launch. The thing that kills me is that it IS COMMANDING LOCKUP. But doesn't... Restart and its fine again
my experience with Brayden was not the best as far as good communication... hope it works out for you
Nope, I haven't had time to get it figured out. The funny thing was that it would only happen after a hard run from 0 to 90+ (or around that area) I'm waiting for an Allilocker and see if that does anything for it.

so, im having a similar issue right now. it was locking fine even with bigger power, now crusing i see 97% tcc duty cycle but i can blow right through the converter. when it locks in 5th i cant even feel it engage, i just let out of it enough and i can see the rpms drop...
Does it set any "TCC stuck off" DTC's?
Do you have a co-pilot or anything else that is screwing around with the TCC solenoid wiring? (the brown wire that goes to pin 29 on the......I think clear connector)
No codes, coincidental or not I did just install a tap shifter but I removed it to make sure it wasn't causing the problem.
fwiw I dont remember what actually fixed this issue. Its on the same TC still, could just be my allilocker masking the issue. Which I sure hope not, I wish I had a better answer but its been so long.
Allilocker is installed and it was locking just fine. So not sure there, tried old tunes that I knew locked the converter before also
