Weird downshifting

You can change when it downshifts at 0% throttle in normal conditions yes. Just can't change the grade braking functions. As James has stated different conditions will trigger the grade braking, and depending on its mood it can be quite aggressive!

I guess what i was getting at is grade braking is a lot less prominent in 5th or 6th then 4th or lower. If you can keep the transmission in the higher gears while coasting down hill it wont grade brake as aggressive. At least this is how i have observed it while making adjustments to the tunes

It's not an extreme issue. It's just around here there's many hilly roads that are 35. So with my speedo off like it is, it's right into 4th when I let off the brakes going downhill around 37-41mph and downshifts
