We used to try to smoke them out, but not anymore

I'm glad to hear that, but why (and I'm not trying to be a dick) does your dad insist on blowing smoke on everything and everybody just because he can? I am not trying to single you/him out for the crackdown, there are a lot of people that do it on a day to day basis, and for the life of me I can't figure out why. What's so special about pissing off a bunch of random people blowing smoke for no reason? Again, I'm not bashing, I'm curious, because I don't understand. Increasing scrutiny is coming down from the EPA and other agencies, and it seems WE are the ROOT of OUR problem, yet we keep on doing what is causing the grief in the first place. I don't get it, I really don't. It's going to continue unless we start policing ourselves.

I humbly submit that we are not the problem, we simply love freedom. The problem is the small vocal minority who want the government to control every little problem that comes up in any aspect of their lives. When those people get offended, they get the government involved and try to ban yet another one of our freedoms so they are not offended anymore.

He doesn't smoke everyone, he only smokes people that piss him off. In fact usually he drives like a grandma, believe it or not, and usually barely goes the speed limit.

Was this from a road side sniffer or did somebody call it in? I remember getting one of these myself 15 years ago when I still had my '88 one ton with the 6.2L. It didn't come from CARB or the AQMD but some "activist" group. Someone called it in on one of those 1-800-clean-air (or something like that) and didn't know it was a diesel. However, at that time there wern't any smogs regs really on the books and that's obviously changed.

they said in the ketter it was on aliso creek road but i dont know how as i have never seen one there. i was thinking mabey a street camera caught something or i got on a on ramp and dont remeber passing one of those deals. not really sure ? wish there was a pic to go with it

My son could have posted the exact same thing.
