I thought you could pump your own diesel in Jersey, just not gas?

Anyway, these two threads are very amusing....:)

Thats great...he deserved it.

X (?) on the no self serve in Jersey...I thought that was stupid on my first trip through there. I got a good attendant though, he let me pump it myself...probably made his job easier. Your fuel is definately cheaper over there.

funny thing is in NJ the law says you can not pump your own fuel or gas.
I PICKED UP A TRUCK IN NEW YORK A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO IN THE WINTER, AND ON MY TRIP; I STOPPED FOR FUEL IN NJ AT A TRUCK STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, AND THIS DUDE WITH A TRENCH COAT AND A FACE MASK WALKS UP TO ME, AND SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME. ENDED UP BEING THE ATTENDANT COMING OVER TO PUMP MY FUEL. I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING ROBBED:rofl:

Yep I learned about the not being to pump your fuel in JERSEY bit as well. SOme person of foreign birth rammed the nozzle right into the bed of my buddies brand new 3500 because he forgot to open the fuel door. Needless to say we weren't happy at all, and the attendant could have cared less(then again I don't think he could speak english).

at the pilot by the Delaware bridge, theres a "special one" who couldnt figure out how to fill my truck without having the nozzles click off every 2 seconds. i finally got fed up and said, go deal with that other car, ill take care of this. one reposition later, and i got back in my truck and waited for it to fill
