Water/Meth with PPE hot+2

I read a thread in here that a guy was running Snow Water/Meth 50/50 mix on PPE level 6 and he burned up a piston? I will be running Snow with supertech (the stuff form wal-mart) it is 38% meth, with the PPE hot+2 on the 300hp & for the track the 350hp tune.Will this be to much timing with the hot+2, I dont ever plan on running 50/50 mix I just mostly wanted it for egt drop & I thought this would good to run at the track? Well they say if you run just water it will take power away, how much I dont know, it might not even be noticeable? I wonder if it would compensate it If just ran 25/75 mix? I am new to this water/meth and dont want to be burning up pistons, just hoping this wasnt going to be a trial & error deal. I know there are alot of people out there running water/meth and like it. just start with a little and slowly work your way up with the meth

I've run pure water and all the way up to 50/50! Straight water still gave power gains, had cruse set @ 80mph and as i started up a hill it goes active @ set boost level and i can feel it surge forward up the hill as it sprays (with one nozzle shut off and quantity, "tune" turned down)! With methanol SOTP, i'd say feels like a 50hp shot of nitrous but like NCT said bout the timing, be careful, use good judgement . IMO 30% meth is a good comprimise. FIY, I mix my own juice

yes or no selection. Almost positive you cant just pick the timing you want.

its 1019 :rofl: ran 13.03 on stock trans with NCTs tune and snow per. stage II with 50/50, still dont know if i got a bad injector or the meth melted my pistons, cuz when it happened the on switch for the meth haddent been on for over a month....ill be using the walmarts stuff as soon as i relocate my pump.

So I think a good starting point would be 25/75 or less. How much EGT drop are yall seeing? Plan on using at the strip to hold my EGT's down. Also what are the best brands of washerfluid to run anyone have a chart of somthing like this? Thanks, Tyler

So today I went to wal-mart looked at all the wiperfluid they had & some of them had more than just water/meth in them so I stayed away from them and picked up Peak +32 it saids

if it is only good to 32 degrees, there would be no significant methyl alcohol content.

Look on DP, Labonte ( :baby: ) posted up some chart about all kinds of different fluids on the markets and their MSDS sheets and makeup, etc etc.
