Looking at doing water/methanol injection on my truck. Running 49/51 mix, I am looking to get the most power with it and still get the egt benefits overall.

Coolingmist kits have two solenoids to run a two stage system that basically runs all the time. With a larger nozzle kicking in at another boost psi for extra power. Not sure what jets would yield the best gains. I will be running a max effort tune, stock turbo, built trans setup. Is it worth it to have the constant flow?

Any jetting tips?

I run a lebonte 3 injector set up that has a small injector for cruizing and 2 otuer big injectors that kick in at 14 psi. I have a stock turbo built trans truck and it really helped my egts out. Cruising at 75 on the interstate my egts are 500 degrees in a 475 rwhp tune. In my biggest tune it cooled it off 250 degrees. Although filling up that tank gets very annoying

^^ what he said. I travel 10 miles per day to work and back total and I use a little over a gallon and my lebonte has a 180 second warm up time period before it injects

Damn, what was the flow on the cruising nozzle?? Any thoughts on whether its worth it? Just set it up for when I get on it hard? 1 gallon in 20 miles is ridiculous, might as well be fuel

It gets ridiculous but I run just Distilled water because its 95 cents a gallon and it cools the best. Its worth it so far because I picked up 2.3 mpg better. You can set my kit up to that it only sets off the injectors when you get above a desired boost level then the solenoids open. I'm debating selling my kit because I'm going to start pulling

I would save your money honestly. The power gain isminimal, and at your current power level I doubt you really need the egt cooling affect, and the mph gains (if any lol) IMO aren't worth the hassle of W/M in general.

Nitrous on the other hand....tons of power and it cools egts lol

Lol ya I bet nitrous cools it off. Ya if I would be better off going with manifolds and up pipes I'd rather do that. Not sure what's best though

I ran 50/50 water meth. It was a devils own kit set to inject at 15 psi. Forgot the nozzle size but it wasn't small. It may have cooled my egts about 100* but I felt no power gain. And it sucked some water meth down at wot for sure.
