dont you have a built motor?
not in the engine bay yet trying to blow the one that's in there up
dont you have a built motor?
ohhh so its just there to look pretty for the time being haha I can keep it safe for you if youd like:hug:
I picked up power and lowered EGTs driving my HP turbo harder. That's why im gated both my 42 and 55 in the new set up. From what ive seen the harder you drive the "small" turbo (obviously not over speeding it) the more power and more in check the EGTs/drive will be.
So wouldn't gate a 66/74 .90ar with a 80mm with a 1.32 ar?
me on a 366/480 setup
i'd run a 80 with a .90 ar
66 with a .81 or .90 pending how quick i wanted it to spool of line..
40mm gates for both turbos.
i also wouldnt have to worry about high altitude either in lighting the chargers, they would also be extremely responsive to part throttle imputs
me personally i'd like a GT4088 (.85ar)/GT4508 (1.01 ar) but i'd probably do 4202 with a 1.01ar 40mm gates on both.
with the heavy towing i do.. im not giving up the additional cooling of water cooler turbos provide help keep oil temps in check
If I had 4k around for just two turbos id do garretts but I dont and I rarely tow anymore I use the dodge now so oil twmps dont really bother me to much but I plan on putting a 40mm gate on the 66 and sending alot of the pressure to the 480 which I may go down to a 1.10 ar if I feel its to laggy
I wonder how long your motor will last
I'll find out there's a guy by me who has an 03 lb7 with a double bat 66 and has been making 700hp for 2 years now on a stock bottom end.
