Wastegate for stock turbo

I need a wastegate for when I spray my truck. I'm not sure what size I need or what PSI to have it open. I will be putting it on the passenger side uppipe. Does anybody here sell them?

have you tried using the boost and vane tables so they will open when you are spraying?

ouch, yeah i guess wastegate is gonna have to be the way you go, henry should be able to get them

I think that you will want to vent both up pipes with the wastegate, not just one. unless im misunderstanding your plan, or i am mistaken and your turbo is not a divided scroll.

Anthony it def isnt a matter of not wanting your business , just hasnt been enough hours in the day to do that tune we were going to do , when we talked i figured i would have the time that week but what i had lined up didnt go as planned , my average hours the last 2 weeks ( months really) have been 8 am - 3:00 am with a 3 hour dinner break to see the family and 2 days till 6 am , please dont take it anything against you i didnt get the tune done I really wanted to. If you do end up not finding a gate I have 5 on the shelf .

what turbo? if it is a divided scroll that will be less than ideal. unloading drive pressure from one bank of cylinders and not the other probably isn't the best idea.

Stock turbo. I don't see why not. It's not like I'm running 0 pressure. I'm still leaving 40psi in the up pipes.

if you feel the two inlet ports on the hot side of the stock turbo, they converge pretty much right away.

This is what im doing with my new engine, mounting a wastegate on the EGR flange of the up-pipe, and then gating it into the hot-pipe for the twins....that way I can run a big primary and still keep the VVT, without having the restricted hot side of the VVT.

fwiw gating only one side works fine, that is how we do all our 6.4 wastegates on basic setups.

Did you end up getting a gate?
