Non forum related here. But cool anyways. My daughter is number #13(below is a hole shot). She killed it this weekend at washougal mx. She took first and first. She was protested(haters)knocked down to third on her second moto, but still walked away with a first overall. We are so proud of her(Brook Whipple) HUGE THANKS TO

We are tryin to move to riverside. It is pretty hard to train to be competitive in western washington. Cali is where its at fer sure, spent 3weeks down there in january. I was wearing shorts, SHORTS! And brook got seat time she would have never been able to have here.

I'm surprised the was they are closing drag strips and how over the top they are on their environmental regs that there is any type of loud motor sport left in SoCal.:(

Sweet picture. I would deff love to move out to riverside to. Luckily I've got to ride a couple of the mx tracks out there. Rode Pala two years ago. Milestone and Hangtown this year. I'm going to try and go to washougal next year for the national. The track looks sick.

Congrats! I used to race as well. Thinking super hard about buying another one. We are pretty fortunate to have quite a few tracks with 1-1.5 hours away also. Good luck!:thumb:

What was the protest about? BTW congratulations to your daughter.:thumb:

Weeellll... hmph. It was bs politics really, some other rider(who was behind brook) saw that brook had "jumped" on a yellow flag. After the race, the other rider(s) went to the officials and said brook broke the rules and wanted her disqualified. They docked her points and place for that race. What was not taken into consideration was she was coming out of a corner that demanded her to be on it to clear that triple, and, actually she is the only girl that tripled that day. She couldn't even see the flag until she was at the crest of the jump. Like i said politics.

Man you guys should see Red Bud! I raced from 94-08 but have been riding since I was 4. I herniated L4 and L5 late year 08 and havnt raced since. Sucks ass too! Some of the best times of my life have been spent 25' in the air on two wheels. Glad to see your daughter is whipping ass! Girls are good for our sport. Any sport for that matter. I hope my daughter wants to ride a bike when the time comes.
