Alright for all the assholes please hold the sarcasm. I need to know what is the best trans for someone on a modest budget. I put PPEI tunes on my truck around 12 pm by 2 pm it had thrown a ratio code and was limited to third gear. After using my autocal to clear all codes and doing a trans relearn through my CTS it is back to shifting and driving normally. Although I know this will happen again soon. I have turned the truck to its economy tune and thats where it will stay.
What I'm asking is what is the best trans for the dollar. I really only plan to bring the truck up to about 600 hp.
My modifications are as follows: Cold air intake, 5 inch exhaust, intake horn, boost valve, and 100 hp Bosch SS injectors.
Now i know that doing injectors before a trans isn't exactly recommended. But two months ago the stock injectors took a dump. I decided to go bigger than stock now as opposed to later and have to pay for new ones again.
Idk guys I'm just at a loss on what to do. I knew limp mode happens but i didn't think it would happen so soon.
