wanting to make my first pull

ok guys i have made many passes down the drag strip i am wanting to hooks up and make my first pull can anyone give me so good info on what to do and what not to do

3rd gear. 4lo. 4x4 obviously. Lol 30-35psi in front tires. 40-45psi rears. T-bars all the way out. Tie rod sleeves and center link brace. Whats all done to your truck? Year?

Built tranny? If so biggest tune u have.

just some tunes efi live by rob15% injectors airdogII165 4inch turbo back airbags stock tranny and turbo and a cts that is i am going to build the tranny this winter and a not so stock turbo

T/h and 3rd. Should be ok. Wouldnt hurt to clamp leaf springs front and rear also.

I run my truck set up like this

Tbars bolts pulled out.
spring claps on front and rear of spring pack.
30 psi in front 40 psi in back depending on track.
Higgest tune I have.
Have it set in 3rd on the gear selector.
get sled moving then hammer down.

sorry guys i didnt tell you i have a long wheel base or does that matter what kind of feet are you all getting with your truck set you this way down here in the south we have red clay on some of the tracks i will try it and see what works out thanks for the info i am greatful for it

Longer the wheel base the better really. It shouldnt hurt u thats for sure.

well it looks like i am going to get to try it out this weekend now all i have to do is get fuel pressure regulator put on and see if it stops all of this low rail pressure stuff
