Bit in the leg and his friends watched him bleed out, not a fun site to see... Guessing they freaked out, and couldn't think straight.
Beavers are terrible. Constantly causing problems. Have alot around my property, and really any where with a little bit of water here in alaska. I dont ever shoot them tho. That's illegal......
