Wal-Mart announced that, on January 1, 2008, it began offering customers a new discount item - Wal-Mart's own brand of wine. The world's largest retail chain is teaming up with Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery of Californiato produce the vintages at an affordable price, in the $2- $5 range.

Wine connoisseurs may not be inclined to throw a bottle of Wal-Mart brand into their shopping carts, but "there is a market for inexpensive wine," said Kathy Micken, professor of marketing at University of Arkansas, Bentonville. She said: "But the right name is important." Customer surveys were conducted to determine the most attractive name for the Wal-Mart wine brand.


The top surveyed names in order of popularity were:

You shouldn't make fun of possum till you try it, it really isnt bad, just wrap a little bacon around it and put it on the smoker for 3-4 hours. Raccoon isn't bad either, it tastes kinda like chicken :chicken:

Larry's known to drink some beer. With that, I'm not sure I'd take his word at eating that kinda varmint.
