Does anyone know the height of the wagler twisted pedestal from the block mounting pads to the top of the flange or have one sitting around you could measure? I have a project I’m helping with that has somewhat limited hood clearance, and I need to know the measurement to see if the turbo will clear the hood if he decides to run it.

From bottom of block mounting pads to the top of flange, looks real close to 7". I was measuring it the the truck so I could be off just a bit. Hopefully someone else can chime in Josh

Thanks for going to the trouble of measuring in the truck. If anyone has one out, I would appreciate if I could get a confirmation on this measurement. The limit to fit under the hood is right at 7”, and I would hate to buy their intake and pedestal to find out it won’t fit. I’ll also try calling Wagler again tomorrow to find out for sure.

It will have a 467 in the valley and a 485 on the side.

7” flange to flange on the pedestal.

15” to the highest point on the turbo and it’s clocked perfectly to miss ac pump, HSP vc and Acc bracket. But you can’t run a belt Driven second pump in the normal location. This is an htt 67.7

You can clock the turbo the other direction to get more hood clearance.

It’s looks extremely high outside the vehicle but surprisingly it fits under the cowl in my Chevelle.

You can clock the turbo the other direction to get more good clearance.
You saying to point the compressor outlet to the passenger's side and run the intercooler in reverse where the passenger's side is hot and the driver's side is cold? That's not a bad idea if we can make room for the intercooler pipe around the other pipes in the area. Thanks for the pictures and extra info.

yes, exactly...…. that will give the hood some extra clearance but will make things super crowded in a compound set up on that side of the engine (passenger side).
