I don't know the guy from anybody, never met him...just read these threads.

Seems to me, although it's not a direct comparison, "Speak softly and carry a big stick" would be a better policy for him if all that stuff he's doing is really as great as he makes it out to be.

I think he had a cummins before and now moved on to the dmax scene trying to get as much free stuff he can.

He also went by "Diesel Power" and "Accelerator" here

I've been meaning to look and see what he also goes by on DP, I know it was another name.

I have my doubts that he sent anything in for testing. That is thousands of dollars. For somebody who won't run anything unless it's free, and can't even afford a used Duramax pickup, it does seem suspicious.

I've got one. I'll pay to ship it if you'll pay for the analysis.

I have no idea, but I'm willing to send mine in if enough people are willing to help with the cost.
Mine wasn't quite broke all the way in half so I thought it might be a good one for them to get an idea where the cracks are starting? I don't know just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone else was interested.

I'm with Fishhooker who exactly is this guy, where does he live? Has he actually ever had a car/truck/go cart/ etc on the track? Earlier this year he was talking about the car he was going to have in Drag week did that ever happen? I'm pretty ignorant on most of this stuff but, DUUUHHH what the hell is he talking about?

Southern Maryland.........I think.

I don't mind chipping in if I know what exactly we are testing? Who would do the testing and what would be the cost?

I was going to just ask for proof he had the work done, but I went a little overboard.

Now before anyone asks, I own/run Quality Inspection a dimensional inspection laboratory. We have done work for other labs that are involved with failure analysis but their names are confidential information that I'm not permitted to release. Never a crankshaft though that I can remember (if we had, I wouldn't be allowed to say anyhow); we've done about 20,000 jobs in the last 16 years, and probably only a few dozen for other labs, most our customers are mfr's, not labs. We are not their customers, so a recommendation of one shop over another wouldn't mean much.

But for anyone seriously interested, there are dozens of labs out there.
