I was trying to see what the suspension is doing on a hard launch, but it was too dark to really see what was going on. What I can tell is I definitely need some better shocks to control what is going on. Anyway, here it is.

thats pretty cool even if it's a little dark! maybe put a little flashlight next to the camera?
That or don't wait until it's dark next time.

One thing that I like about the video is the sparks coming off the brakes when I'm slowing down at the end of the run. Looks kind of cool.

Hmm I thought I seen sparks myself ,confirmed I did! Is the van empty as it did bounce a bit I assume stock shocks. Those cameras come in handy I'm surprised there is no provisions for a flash or some sort of illumination device like most cameras have. Pretty neat tho

Are you going to try some rancho 9000's? That is a pretty cool shot of what is going on back there. Violent comes to mind:thumb:

rear end definintly looks "floaty". maybe start with adding more rebound if possible? cool vid either way and thats definitly the way to fine tune the suspension in for ya!!

Looks like it does need some shocks. See if you can remount them to be vertical as well, seem to react better that way from what I've seen.

When did you get a van anyway? What are the specs on it I don't recall you talking about it maybe I missed it.

Pretty much illustrates what Trent was trying to explain about shocks and suspension setup a couple years ago. Thanks for the vid, Josh.

Keep in mind those slicks only have about 10 psi tire pressure.

The van is a project my dad and I are doing together. I started a thread with pics and details about what we're doing; you can find it if you search duramaxes race van. Got it at the end of January. It is an 06 with an LBZ and a built 4L85E trans, lift pump, and some nitrous.
